God i wish. Sadly i dont see it happening. They want people to grindy the dungeons over and over.

There is no consistency what the color of the item really means, so change like this doesn't really matter. Only thing that has effect on the item quality is it's item level and quality.
Someone in the itemization department really doesn't know what s/he is doing.
they need to remove pink items from dungeons
Seems pretty consistent to me:
Purple>Blue>Green>Pink>White
HQ items moves color to next tier. Seems more like common sense to me. There will never be Blue and Purple crafted gear, or else no one will do the endgame content. If you want craftable blue gear, then HQ green gear. There was never a shown purple gear besides the best weapon in the game, so why would they want players to circumvent the process of achieving the best items in the game by buying gil?

There is nothing wrong with crafters being able to craft some BiS gear, as long as they can't craft BiS for every single slot. For stuff like weapons, it's ok to be able to make close to BiS, as long as raids drop somewhat better.
They already can. I just said that. There is no purple gear in the game (just relic weapons). Since no Blue gear is craftable, then using HQ green gear (to be of the same tier as blue gear) with the addition of materia makes it BiS. There are no craftables for lvl 90 gear because there are no drops from lvl 90 dungeons. It would be silly to make gear using items that are a lower level than the gear.
Indeed. But I personally feel there *should* be drops from Coil. Both recipes and materials. It won't break the game for a crafter be able to make gloves and a belt that are on par with Allagen/AF2. They still need to run coil for the rest of their slots. They already can. I just said that. There is no purple gear in the game (just relic weapons). Maybe not better or worse, but different.
I would really like to see some gear that is beneficial to certain abilities.
Lets say crafters can make gear that is superior in raw stats, while dungeon gear (rare dungeon gear) can give bonuses to certain abilities. For example, (and probably not the most enticing) boots that enhance movement speed. A shield that increases stun duration, etc. it will give diversity to itemization, as well as different avenues to obtain the different gear, while simultaneously giving the player(s) the ability to customize otherwise cookie cutter classes.
