I would like to advise people to read the “A Relic Reborn Walkthrough”-thread, created by Rogue Muse in the Quests section of the Forum. It has a lot of info regarding the Relic Reborn Quest, including the errors it contains.

I hope that SE does fix these Relic quests with the Maintenance being held today. There are quite a few people who are in the same boat as you.

Maybe this is a stupid question, but… Can you use that book for Scholar instead? If that’s the case, you can keep it. Just in case you reach the same point with your Scholar.

A bug like this should of easily been fixed within the 1st couple of weeks. Hell, this should of been tested in beta.

If my book doesnt get converted to a picatrix of casting so I can continue, im not subscribing.

Then i guess its been nice knowing you, they are not going to give you the right book or convert the old one sorry. The reason it was moved to duplicate bug is because they know about it but they are not going to patch the game just for this one bug. it will probably get corrected tonight in maint but thats it they will not give you the right book or materia.

Unfortunately, it was not possible for us to test it. Arcanist was only available in the 4th phase and this phase only lasted for a few days, while being level capped. On top of that, they had massive server queue issues, which became their top priority.

The server queues are still their top priority, but I would hope that the next maintenance will also include bug fixes.

You do need the craft to 50 if you plan to do it yourself although you can get someone to meld it for you. Both melds are 100% success and people usually do the melds for cheap if not free. Just have the mats and /shout in a crafting area and you should be good.
