Lol wow so much hate. Guys I'm not saying the fight is super easy now (far from it), or that the kills now are worthless. ALL I'm saying is I personally would have liked a little more time to try it pre-nerf, that's it. I like a challenge. That isn't to say it isn't still challenging, just not AS challenging as it was.

Now that it's been nerfed before anyone else could beat it, the argument could be made that NOBODY is as good as BG, even if they beat it, because it is now easier than what they went through.

We all pay the same amount for the game, therefore it is to be expected that we will all have access to the game. Some disagree.

Your $15 a month entitles you to absolutely nothing but access to your character and the servers. If you think that means you get the have equal gear and experience the same content as people that have been working for it, then I'm sorry but not even Yoshi agrees with you. The only part of the game they intend to be accessible by EVERYONE is the main story. Everything after that is gated, and you need to progress through it to see it.

It’s like a stairway. We have first the level 50 story, we want everyone to be able to do that. And then the content steps up. If you complete this, you can move on to the next tier. And since this is a MMORPG, when new content comes in other players can start to take on older content. Things can be scaled through patches so that most players can access the content, but there will also be top-tier challenges for the hardcore players because we respect them as well.

He also says that eventually the content will be nerfed to be more accessible, which is fine, but that's assuming they've added something new that isn't nerfed.

I never said anything about being handed gear and wins. That'd defeat the purpose of playing the game too. I don't have the entitlement complex here. People thinking the content should be tuned to their 24 hour a day play style such that only they have a chance of clearing the content is an entitlement issue. They pay 15 dollars, too. They don't deserve any more than I deserve.
