Hook up a headphone. Have sound on even alt-tabbed. Problem solved.

I'm glad you replied to only one part of my post. No I don't want crafting noises and all random crap playing while I'm listening to my own music, or watching a video of a fight I'm about to do, or sometimes I just want complete silence.

The duty finder sound is not the only sound that plays >.<

Just... set the notification to be the only sound to play while tabbed out.

It works, people. Found that setting years ago. When tabbed out, the only sound from the game I'll ever hear is the duty popped sound (and maybe a /tell or something, can't remember).
