Oh it's not an assumption, just saying that I will log on tonight and maybe mass recruit geared/non-geared players till I hit massive amount of active players and we'll be #1. That is all. And then carry them through WP Speed runs 11-14min a run. Yea I think it's do-able.

No, having a ton of people doesn't make you good, but that was not the point he was making. He said that we are at the top in terms of members and percentage of those members who are ready for coil/already in coil/about to be ready for coil.

If you want to claim you're the top guild that means you're clearing content the fastest, that's pretty much it.

Er.. not necessarily. What is #1 to one person, might be #5, #10 to another, based on whatever quality they are looking for. For someone, perhaps "top FC" means:

A) most visible and popular on the server
B) the most friendliest/helpful on the server,
C) the FC with the most members or the most active members
D) the FC clearing content the fastest
E) the FC with the highest percentage of members who have cleared all content possible
and so on, and so on.

And that of course depends on other factors. What if an FC cleared the content the fastest, say Turn 5, but it was only a core group of 8 out of 150 and the rest were way behind? Would they be better than an FC where the majority had completed turn 4 (say 88/100 members) but still hadn't beaten Turn 5? And so on.

Would it make you feel better if we put a disclaimer in the OP? *According to FFXIV Armoury?

So you're saying that since some of the groups that downed turn 5, which are small group/fc's. They are not the TOP FC. Because they don't have massive amounts of active players?. Cool! Good to know.


It's not really hating. Unless you think it is, but my point is if you can't back what you're saying, why say it. All the groups/FC that have downed twintania has less than 50 members on the specific server or even less. They really aren't TOP according to the posts here. Because active members > content accomplished.

4) This is pretty much how you tell the top guild from the others.

So then I guess I can say Fairy Tail is top 3 as well?! Over 270 members, none past 30 days inactive, 50-70 online in the evenings, 6 raid teams, 2 on turn 5, rest on turns 2-4, weekly titan kills and mass community! But no... Top FC/Guilds in any game go to those who progress the best. The site values for the "rating site" are broken and misleading anyways, since you have to turn on the ability to even view the achievements. Sorry, I have respect for Kilos, but I will gladly say Oath/Goon and several others are way above you in any sort of ranking.

I can respect what you guys are doing on the server but calling yourselves the top FC is pretty laughable. If you want to take people through titan by all means do it. If you want to take new players on your back and try to teach them how to do a rotation properly then by all means do it. Saying you're #1 due to number of active people in your FC is just lol... What is the MMO community coming to these days? I would love to see that logic bought to WoW and have those raiders laugh their ass off.
