    Are we going to see stat percentages anytime soon?

    I'm just wondering if they plan on ever making it so you can see how much your crit/parry/determination etc actually benefit your character when you hover over your stat. I understand people like the "mystery" of it, but really, in this day and age its a nice thing to have. When I equip a new piece of gear with like 5 more of the stat in question, it would be nice to get an idea how much it will improve my character.

    With the current system, getting an item with say 3 more parry almost feels irrelevant because I have no idea how it improves my character and it takes a lot of the fun out of getting new gear.

    Because you have the same crit chance on a level 1 ladybug as you do on twintania.

    Actually I don't really know if that's true or not, but you get the idea.

    I don't think you get what I'm asking for. What I would like to see is when you hover over your crit rating, instead of it saying a number like, "your total crit is 450" it would instead say, "450 crit rating equals X% chance to crit". It would be nice for it to show same level enemies, but it would be better if it broke it down to boss level enemies and up to 3 enemies higher.

    It is more than likely the system doesn't work with percentages. I'm assuming the current system works by comparing numbers.

    For instance, for a critical hit, your critical score would be oppose to a score from the creature, which would in return give another number, which will generate your critical chances, which then will be rolled by the system. In a similar system, it is impossible to give an absolute critical hit percentage as this value will be different for all creatures.

    Regardless of percentages or not, the higher the number, the better the stat is.

    That's not how stats like crit, acc, etc work in this game. Whatever % 500 crit might give against one target is NOT the same % as it will give against another. It might give you 10% against one mob, and 30% against a different one. Same goes for your accuracy stat.

    I'm not sure how it works in this game, but I know in XI that same level mobs had varying stats based on mob type. I wouldn't be surprised if a similar system was in place here.
