    The problem with inventory space is that while you get a lot of it compared to other MMORPG, you have even more junk. You basically have to consult an external site just to know if some random crafting material is of any use since you almost certainly won't know that Grenade Ash is used in exactly one Alchemy recipe, for example. Or that there are something like 10 types of fish out of 100+ available that's actually used in something. In light of this you should just have 999 spaces so you can store all the junk that you may never have a use for. Other games have less inventory, but they also have less junk to store.

    Just wanna say that I have all job capped, an active crafter, and I have no trouble at all with inventory
    I think this was addressed by the DEV back in 1.0 that more inventory will causing more stress to the system. Though I havent read any similar statement in 2.0

    just stop hoarding, and sell effectively

    I dont know if anyone mentioned this but do you think with the implementation of HOUSING that there will be any inventory considerations? I can't think of much housing would add to the game if there wasn't any form of chests to store things etc etc....

    They just need to get rid of the slot layout for the retainer... Turn the retainer into an organized list structure with unlimited slots.

    Inventory management in this game really is absurd. I've had to resort to discarding or selling off every that is not level 50, and then when I need to make something that is lower level I go to the board, buy the mats I need, make the item and discard any remaining mats... just to keep my inventory somewhat managable...

    For people who enjoy collecting stuff with most of the classes, this really isn't good inventory design at all...
    At the end if you want to hold into all the gear and stuff, you have to make alt ;(

    Yeah, like if I need to turn in 10 of some common gather items, I'll just go buy 15 or 99 of it from market board and then vendor the rest because it's not worth the time to find another spot to store this item. That's just messed up.
