If you already have relic +1, yeah. AF+1 helm is probably your biggest upgrade at the moment(over demagogue). Depending on your rings, that is what you should get after. From there fill in what you don't get from coil, and if you're not doing coil then I'd do Accessories(if over DL)->gloves->Chest Piece->Accessories(if over crafted), and hopefully you're doing coil by then because spending tomes on the legs/boots/belt/earrings is a waste.

Yeah, +1 was the first thing I got. ^^ As far as my rings, I do still have a demagogue ring in one slot. That was the other thing i was considering replacing other than my helm. So helm, then rings.

Personally I did Relic +1 first, using some crafted jewelry for +accuracy on neck/wrist and going to craft a Vanya hat with +acc to pair with AF2 body. Will make up for most of the loss from DL Cowl, and leave me enough to still maintain 100% accuracy in Coils.

There is one thing I haven't seen mention yet, in this thread but many others for +1 your Relic first. The reason is because while you get more person stats going for armor first. You get more party improvement +1 your Relic since The party Limit Break strength is determined by party's weapon average.

Intelligence modifies Magic Dmg (your weapon damage), Determination does as well (although this isn't the only thing it does), and Crit doubles the final calculated number after Int/Det/Mdmg/potency resolves. The higher amount of each, the more damage you do. It's not just the weapon itself.

Individual determination, crit chance, base stat, etc. does NOT affect LB damage. The only thing that matters in LB damage is the average weapon damage of your party. If you have a lesser weapon (Relic vs Relic +1), you are lowering your group's LB damage.

This thread is filled with misinformation from you. Crit does not double your damage, as it is a 1.5x multiplier. If you are judging from a pure damage output's point of view, the specific numbers as mentioned by others will means you will do more damage with your Relic+1. Please stop defiling this thread with your autistic point of view as the only thing they do is distract people who're looking for valuable information.

I don't necessarily agree that some of those pieces are a waste. If you can't be arsed to have an accuracy set purely for summoning, which you then switch out of, some of those pieces are flat-out necessary to be truly accuracy capped while wearing a full ilevel 90 set due to the way the job works. Although having an summoning set seems like the ideal solution, you have to be content that it will only be a net gain if nothing goes wrong (you die, pet dies, whatever), and you have to resummon.

The pants are an ideal place to pick up accuracy as all of its secondary stats are spent on determination and accuracy. Although losing the crit from allagan hurts, in my opinion a reasonable case can be made for AF+1 pants as the best alternative piece of gear to use for an accuracy boost. The belt, while much less attractive because it is partially itemized for spell speed (slightly moreso than the allagan belt), is still the next best place to pick up accuracy if you want to move Garuda closer to the accuracy cap (and hopefully reach it as well). The boots are very difficult to make a case for because you'd have to be willing to trade 21 crit for 5 accuracy (belt trades 16 crit for 11 accuracy; a much better ratio). From a purely speculative standpoint, it wouldn't be unreasonable to think turn 6+ will have higher accuracy requirements when they are introduced as well.

There really isn't much reason to pick up the earring, though.

I went with AF2 body first because of how much I hated DL Cowl, I had to wear that disgusting thing for six weeks. Yes my acc dropped, however, I am rarely missing in coil. My next upgrade is the head which is in two Mondays and the arms will be the following Monday after AF2 head.
