Chimera/Hydra

Currently Working on my 3rd Relic (Non Legacy) and im starting to think SE just wanted us to suffer while doing the chain, Why not add these two bosses to DF instances, The hardest part of this quest for me is grouping up for these bosses since all i ever see is LF BRD/WHM

The whole quest chain is so easy but with the task of finding people who don't want to go back to help others it's becoming harder to get this done.

4 hours one of my friends spend trying for Chimera as he was getting bad groups, He's also a tank which means less groups for him since only 1 tank is needed.

I think in the future SE needs to look at adding these to the DF, can easily be completed with random people and without bards

Actually if you're with a good group of people it should solve it. Every Relic I've done in ARR has been with either friends and FC, just needed to ask. If you're part of a group that isn't willing to help its members, maybe it's time to look for a new group.

The bigger problem is getting groups that can kill Hydra... I have wiped many times on Hydra but only three times on Titan HM with mostly newcomers.

For what it's worth, you need exactly 0 BRDs for Chimera and 0 BLM/SMN for Ifrit.

He's also a tank which means less groups for him since only 1 tank is needed.

You don't even need a full group for these things, so I don't get why people say you can't take a 2nd tank. You could do Chimera with 4 tanks if you wanted. It's a very easy fight.

Feeling this now that it's me with Chimera to do and most of our FC seem busy with Titan. Really needs to be in the DF.

I don't get why people stick with FCs that refuse to help them. Mine helped me and I help them in turn. Everyone is happy, you get to train with your class and there is not much to do ingame anyway once you cap your myths and finish coil (if you are lucky enough to have a group to go there) for the week

I just finished Chimera, but not without several hours of shouting, pleading, begging, cajoling and bartering.

There were tears involved.

Yeah, this should be in duty finder and there should be adequate rewards for doing it again.

I think it would be helpful if Chimera/Hydra were to be DFed just because depending on the time etc, it can be really hard to build up a party. It took forever making up a Chimera party (and me and my buddy was BRD and WHM and it still took us forever) and it took us like three wipes maybe before someone bailed and we got another person who told us a trick to beating Chimera. Then we beat him no issue really. Hydra was really quick to fill up a party and we only wiped once intentionally because someone forgot their unfinished relic weapon but after that we had no issue and beat Hydra easily.
