Militia wristlets and level 49 mobs

Are you sure you're not checking another pair of militia wristlets? Those mobs are completely fine to SB (I SB entire sets of ilvl 55 gear killing lvl 47-50 mobs out in the open) so not sure why it's not going above 1%. As for SB tips, HQ gear gains spiritbond faster and gear with one meld gains spiritbond at a rate equal to HQ gear. You can SB stuff even faster by stuffing it with more melds and each meld increases the SB rate even more. I don't have exact numbers but I had a 3-melded piece of gear finish SBing when a 1-melded piece was only at 73%~ (probably finished before then but that's when I noticed it).

THanks, all this info help, and someone was doing the same thing, with a party and invited me, got a good SB, but still going to take a minute to do everything i need SB.

I am having this problem on an i70 hq dark scutum shield w/ melds. used the crap out of it primals, ak, still at 1%. It says it's convertible so I'm not sure what to do with it.

Ilv70 only spirit bond in Coil. Need to run coil!

Militia Wrists have CP (or GP?), so I believe they changed it in 2.05 that you can only Spiritbond "Crafting" Gear by crafting and "Gathering" gear by gathering, etc.

Not sure tho but I think that's what they did.

Nah, you can still SB them in combat just fine. Much less painful(OMHO anyhow) than SBing Crafter/Gatherer AF for IV Materia.

Yes, just tested it. Did a bit of crafting with 3 pieces of gear that started at 57% SB. No meld went to 63%, 1 meld went to 64%, and the piece with 2 materia was at 66%. Its not much, but it certainly helps
