Devs: New Game + once the game it ripe for it's second birth (a.k.a PS3 release)

With all the coming changes to the game and especially the possible Miqo'te and Roegadyn genders, I am wondering if there is a possible opportunity for a reroll of our characters, once the game is pretty much set for the PS3 release/start of billing/rebirth/rapture/etc.

Of course the (most improbable) kicker would be also the option to reassign our ranks (by Discipline, else i personally think it would be unfair/broken), but I'd really appreciate for a one-time ticket to make a new character and set in stone the Race, Deity, Birthdate, etc, as well as the Name (in some case the current name couldn't fit the new character) and maybe even the World.

Hopefully I am not the only one thinking this.

Yoshi-P already said that he would never consider a re-roll. However, he also mentioned the possibility of a one-time race change when the new races are released (PS3 release.)

Would never consider a character wipe is what has been said.
Nice for the race if it's been stated, now for the rest...

Giving us a one time character re-creation ticket would be sufficient enough. Allow us to basically create the character from scratch again (race/gender/name/look) but keep all of our progress (ranks, items, quests). That's simply all I ask for.
