Wouldn't mind seeing something new for Tank or Healer. Tank gets Pld/War, healer gets Whm/Sch, but then DPS gets Brd, Drg, Mnk, Blm, and Smn.

I sincerely hope they -do not- bring back the ninja tank from FF11. They were originally meant to be a hybrid support DPS with it's throwing, debuff + damage ninjutsu and dual wield ability. Players took advantage of the broken shadows mechanic plus provoke and turned it into a tank and SE slowly embraced the idea. Although it worked for a part of FFXI's lifespan, they eventually phased it out over time, much like they did with Warrior's tanking. In their latest expansion they released Rune Fencer to be a tank job and they have not been successful with that.

Personally, I hope they stick with older Final Fantasy's rendition of Ninja. See: Edge, Yuffie, Shadow, FF games where Ninja appear(FF I, III, IV, V, Tactics) and are given a DPS role instead.

guns seem out of place in FF at best of times, theyd be even more outta place in XIV imo.
wouldnt mind a sentinel like XII or saboteur class tho

So me and my FC were talking about rolls and i was thinking about gunners. i mean think about it. it will be the 2nd dps roll thats not casting you can fight with. yea blm and sum are long rang dps but you have to stand there and cast. I mean the the Admiral of Limsa Lominsa has gun. Where can i get some?

So what do you think. What do you wish for lets talk about it.!
