A little of positive karma for a change on these forums

This happened about a month ago but I was on WHM and que in for an AK run.
Had a WAR tank, MNK, and I forget the other but the MNK in our group wasn't geared at all. He was still wearing level 30 gear and AF. I knew from the get go that we weren't going to make it passed the first boss, but I said nothing and pressed on forward with the group just to see how it would go.
We wipe a few times on the first boss and the one DD leaves. The WAR speaks up about the MNK gear and offer him some friendly advice and I did also.

I left the group afterwards and a few moments later I get a friend request. I picked up the request and it was from the WAR who I was grouped with. Shocking enough he looked me up on the lodestone to see if I was on the same server. At first I wondered why, because I hadn't said anything during the run and only added some sound advice to the MNK and left.
But the WAR started talking to me little by little, then we started grouping together.
Since then we've pretty much ran together and have enjoyed each other company.

Such things like this tho remind me of what I've missed since back in the early days of XI. It nice to know that there are a few people out there that still find the social aspect of MMO's.
