If you played FFXI or any MMO for that matter, you will understand that it takes time for content to be made,tested, finalized then implemented. If you come back in 2 years, then many people will see what FFXI was when it came out to NA with 1+ years worth of content. ( That doesn't include Sea at that time).

Edit: Also, Name 1 AAA MMO that launched with exceptional amounts of content. I would like to see it ( Research it) and maybe perhaps play it.

Almost every mmorpg out there has more content at release.
Just look around, dont make me name one game because you would just flame it

The way the game is designed is just flawed. Things not in Duty Finder that should be.

Dungeons dont give nearly enough XP and take just way to long

I have yet to see an MMO that came out that has loads of content. Personally. ( FFXI,Aion,WoW,Rift,Tera etc) all didn't have large amounts of content at launch. ( Tera does have an awesome combat system I give it that).

I do not consider the game have been released for only 2 months. They've had a very long time to plan endgame features and design for this installment. Since 2011.
And I admit the road to lv 50 was extremely high quality. I enjoyed it very very much.

I respect your opinion. However, their launch was terrible for 1.0, it took them to 1.20 at least to become playable, then the final 3 patches were to conclude 1.0. In 3 years They didn't have 1 expansion because of their terrible launch that they had to regroup and think about all that happened, and put a plan into action.

In my opinion, FFXIV 2.0 is more of a "Fresh Start" then "Brand new". Heck some things like Moggle Primal Fight didn't make it in the Launch and had to be pushed back to 2.1.

They didn't really have much room to make "new content", since they had to recode the whole game, redesign maps, algorithms, Brand new servers from scratch etc. It's not that the game is New or Old. It has to do with that they had to put all of their energy to take what was already there and reput it back into 2.0, with different lore.
