I live in Melbourne. I am with Telstra, on ADSL2+. My ping times to the Telstra-side USA portal is rarely more than 200ms. I play on Zalera (in the Canadian datacentre - you may ask why, and that's because when I signed up there were some ongoing issues between Australia->Japan at the time). In the open world I don't see much more than 400-500ms. When in instances, it will typically be around 500-600, but occasionally spike up to 2500. The issue from all my digging has very little at all to do with my local internet connection.

Is there a decent server which I should perhaps transfer to for Australian based players?
