So asking a crafter to meld stuff for you (which is absolutely normal in any other MMO) equals to "rushing".

Makes sense... oh wait it doesnt!

Except in most other mmo's it's just a minor stat like an enhancement, not a step in a quest for your end game weapon.
I call it rushing because you are skipping a huge step in a quest so you can get in to end game before your time.

And if you make the choice to skip content, you don't in my opinion hav a right to complain afterwards of being bored.

True due to turn 5, but most have not been trying since it was unkillable. We can wait a few weeks until that is dead and continue the argument?

There is a massive lack of carrots on sticks end game though, and the carrots in the game are on a very short stick.

I'm not here for debate. I like the game and will re-sub.

But my mentality probably differs from yours, and it's probably not popular. I believe they designed the game so you should progress in real life too. And if that's not your style, there's plenty of content there to display you that thrived in-game through your efforts.

Am I going to re-sub? Maybe. Really depends on how far I get and what other attractive online games will be released in the market - particularly for Xbox One and PS4 such as Destiny.

Is anyone forcing you to stay and play the existing end-game content? No. You are welcome to stop playing and unsubscribing at your own will.

Hum, yea guess I could go through effort finding a guild to wipe endlessly in coil until it's on farm but that just adds another what 1-2 hours? After you are locked out all there is left is more...WP and AK...

Is it really worth it? Not so sure about that.

I personally feel this game should have launched with 2.1 and it would have been much better for it. Just a thought.

Seemed like you were, that you wanted to do all that stuff and because of that you could not complete the content at the same pace. However as it stands this game is extremely easy. Now if that's your sort of thing, having stuff handed to you. Then this game in it's current state is perfect for you.

I find it amazing that so many people feel that this should be a fully developed along the lines of FFXI/Rise of Zilart or WoW 2 years in. Please remember everyone that they took a failed product and completely redid it in less then 24 months while fulfilling a promise to make the original game playable. Usual development time is about 5 years, so yes some content is not immediately available. We already know that there are 3 major updates in the works and I suspect that an expansion will be released shortly after the third one. Add to that they are rewriting the client for the PS4. Considering the progress they have made so far I am willing to give them a year to see if they can bring it to the level we all want. Recommend that you do the same before you call it a failure.
