OP, you were kicked out of the group because you were undergeared. Unless you have a full DL armor, you WILL be one-shotted by one of Titan's undodgeable/unblockable moves. That's why you need a full set of DL armor, it has such a Vitality boost that it'll make it so you survive the hit. Otherwise you'll die and be useless to the party. Get a full set of DL armor and get into another group, you'll definitely be accepted into it then.

Is it me or are the lvl 50 players that have the darklight gear just plan d..ks? Seriously tried to do titan hm and people leave because of gear, tried to join a titan group and few seconds later they kicked me out because i wasnt fully geared, and tried to do AK and people just being plain rude.

Bro, you really shouldn't even think about doing HM Titan with your current gear. That AK group is just a bunch of jerks though, I am with you on this one.

Absolutely false. Full DL" is not required to not get one-shotted. For a caster, it's a close call, but the general benchmark is that if your HP is 3400 or higher, you have enough health to survive the fight. Higher is better, of course, but the OP, being a Dragoon, does not need anywhere near full DL to reach that amount of health. One thing that is pretty much explicitly required however, is a weapon from Ifrit or preferably Garuda. Damage is important, and weapons give it best.

You are absolutely not ready for Titan HM, you are so lacking in dps its not even funny. The STR you get from DL gear and the weapon damage you get from ifrit or garuda wep is huge for finishing off the heart and then dpsing titan down in phase 5.

You got kicked out of those groups because you are just, simply, not ready for it.

However, this is SEs fault imo for not letting you know that. ilvl minimums coming in 2.1 will help give you a clearer sense of what you need before entering a new trial or dungeon.

Yeah I agree lvl 50 players attitude needs a major fixing. If u get in DF run and people tells u u don't have enough gear to do something u should look up which gear is necessary for it before trying again, that is just common sense, keep trying to join it regardless makes u a d.... I agree some people in game are rude for nothing, just mock them when u meet them. Anyway how about u do prae and CM several times to get your DL gear and then u can spend a week looking for a group in DF that can actually pull off the titan fight, before posting stuff like this.

Landslide must be dodged.
Weight of the Land does about 2.2k, doesn't require gear. You will always be able to stop yourself being hit by two; normally can stop yourself being hit by one.
Geocrush does about 2.7k, doesn't require gear. You can even survive weakened Geocrush with a Stoneskin.
Bombs do about 3.3k; require gear if you intend to take a hit. You never have to though.
Earthen Fury does about 3k, doesn't require gear. Can even survive it weakened with a Stoneskin.
Tumult is less to do with your gear and more to do with your healers having enough MP/potent enough healing/precasting.

Then that guildie I was talking with didn't know entirely what they were talking about. This is useful to know regardless. Guess I really am going to have to spam Ifrit and/or Garuda for the bow then.

Yeah I'd say AK gear or better. Ifrit, Garuda, or the i70 crafted weapon. Obviously the better geared you are the more you can contribute to dps, which is really important. For a lesser geared party the healers can help with that. I've killed Titan many times with just over 3200 HP as a WHM. Max tumults are about how good your healer is and the rest is dodging. Some parties won't take people without full or near full DL though. It just makes the dps race too close.

Lastnight i tried Titan thru dutyfinder just for the hell of it. I know I'm undergeared and was expecting to get hammered. I told them its my first time and that ive watched the video for the fight alot. I didn't die and believe i did alright. Atleast no one complained about me but they didnt complain about others. I wasnt the one dying alot either. We didn't beat him but i know i probably need better gear.
