SE , Endgame Just Isnt There - Are you going to Re-Sub

Another troll thread. 3 posts ever, offering a high level criticism of the game without any solutions, and just waiting for people to bite.

Is this an internet thing? When did it become cool or fun to do this? I don't understand. I can't wrap my mind around creating a post with garbage just to get a rise out of people.

hard mode istances in 2.1 - check.
endgame (binding coil) - check. I don't know why you don't to this, but THERE is, and don't doing it it's your own business. Find a guild who run in your hours ? Transfer to another server? Whatever.

I do Coil.
Its ONE dungeon, split it into five turns that you can only beat once a week, it is still ONE dungeon.
I expected more than one dungeon from a (pay to play) game that "starts at level 50"... in fact i expected half a dozen of "hard mode" dungeons dropping myth and different sets of gear. And no AK and WP dont count as "hard mode" dungeons and the gear they drop is borderline useless.
Sorry for being so naive, but the OP is damn right.

What happened to beastmen strongholds for example? Why they are so damn easy? They are not even worth exping my chocobo.

We need hard stuff to fight FOR THE HECK OF IT, and not just to collect gear.

The game would be just perfect if it was buy to play, but its not.
FFXIV doesnt suck, in fact its a good game, but why to pay a sub for it? I cant find a reason besides playing with my friends.

According to SE there are 1.5 million subs. So if you were to take the average population of EU, NA, JP, and AUS and assume that an equal proportion from each region plays the game, you could easily deduce that AUS is the smallest sub base of any of the players of this game. I feel for you, but being in AUS and unwilling to play Crazy hours, maybe this game isn't for you.

Also we knew in beta that Crystal Tower and more dungeons wouldn't be out until the 2.1 and 2.2 patches went live. People knew that before purchasing this game and purchased it anyway, then decided to complain about it anyway. You guys are all right, but it's irrelevant. We knew before buying this game that the content wouldn't be out yet. If you didn't know that then you were not active in beta and you did not do research before your purchase. 2.1 and 2.2 has been public knowledge since Phase 3 Beta. That or you do not get or do not read the producer live letters.

And yeah, I will resub. I will play this game until something better comes out. And from the looks of the industry lately, end game or no engame, this is the best MMO to hit the market in half a decade if 2.1 and 2.2 are even a little good.

We knew before buying this game that the content wouldn't be out yet. If you didn't know that then you were not active in beta and you did not do research before your purchase. 2.1 and 2.2 has been public knowledge since Phase 3 Beta.

Ive said this same thing many times. I do not get people and why they are constantly complaining about this issue knowing exactly what content the game had at release and when new content was going to be available.

No one wants to go at Extreme 120 year old grandma pace for a game they are subbing for.
I, for one, want to get my monies worth and not log on 1 hour per day.

I'd say that any dungeons that drop tomes used for DL or AF count as endgame dungeons.

Not saying that FFXIV has a lot of endgame, but you also don't need to go into hyperbole.

I did get that the other guy was using sarcasm, but people need to stop pretending that the only way to enjoy the game is to rush to endgame, grind dungeons and then come to the forums to complain about lack of content.

I'll let it lapse after this months sub runs out. No real reason to play. I just clear up to turn 4 and finish up my myth tomes, then log. I'll be happy enough with my gear after this months sub ends.

I already payed for 90 days, and will re-sub once that's up. I haven't geared out all the classes I play, and haven't even touched coil. There's plenty for me to do.
