It's a depressing thought. We are not, and never will, be as important, or as well respected, as the originals. Even if we fight side-by-side with them, we will always be regarded as followers and they the leaders.

Well, technically they weren't that great, since they failed to stop Meteor. If it wasn't for Louisoix sending them into the future, they'd all have been toasted and as dead as everyone else that was in the valley of Cartenau. We will surpass them by actually saving Eorzea and defeating the Empire this time. =P

somehow as a legacy I do not know how to defend that fact we failed to stop the Metoer. You know during the final event, the server crashed since too many players tried to log in at the same time. So... I blame SE for this failure since we could not finish the fight because the server crashed and the Meteor ended up on the ground XD.... Jking

The Warriors of Light didn't fail so to speak to stop meteor by the time we got to that it was already too late to stop it's course (as it was so scripted otherwise there would have been no 2.0). It would be like all those movies about a meteor hitting the earth and the best hope for mankind (ie a nuclear bomb) just wasn't big enough to do the trick. We the Warriors of Light were told about stopping it too late in the game and if something is too late that does change the facts of it. Plus we were putting out other fires like the Primals. Everything else we did as warriors of light was in truth accomplished. We were sent to pray at the god stones to help activate it. We did the best we could to stop Van Darnus. The bad guys were unfortunately just one step ahead. Also if we go to that stand point if Bahamut hadn't have over powered the gods then things also would be different.

I do feel like we're on equal footing with them, and arguing the opposite is just going out of your way to be contrary.
