auto translator needs improvement.

I personally find that the auto translator in ffxi had alot more in it than the one we have in ffxiv. We need an expansion to the auto translate dictionary. Below are some of the words and phrases i would like to see added. List some of yours!

thehehe. I avoid this problem by playing the client in the 'common language' of the server

but I guess it can become a little tricky if you're a member of several language linkshells. I have caused quite some funny conversations before in my german speaking linkshell on balmung (NA server so naturally my client is english :P)

it's not just the lack of words, though

the german word 'bitte' for example means both 'thank you' and 'please', which always makes me go head-against-wall ^-^
(though ffxi had that 'problem' too :P)

Welcome to using the SE auto translator. People have been making complaints and suggestions for it since Final Fantasy XI came out more than 10 years ago. And SE has ignored every single one. I would not get my hopes up for any changes or improvements, because SE, frankly, has shown that they can't be bothered to care.
