Dragoon needs a pet

This has been discussed before and it just wouldn't work. Mostly because XI is the only game where the Dragoon had a pet. In XIV, though, the pet would fly in the face of the job's lore of... dragon slayer. A wyvern being a baby dragon it'd... well, it'd be dead.

The first Dragoons in the series were raised/lived along side Dragonkin of all types (Wyverns specifically.) They even retconned the DRG story a bit which actually does leave it a bit open for us to be "different."

Sorry OP, you're talking to the wrong community, especially since most usually jumps on someone's case for being narrowminded or "living in the past" but forget that FF is an ever evolving series, MMOs in particular - No one but SE knows what they're doing with the entire story, look at XI's stories - You're a simple adventurer yet in CoP and ToAU you (adventurer) defy the "norm" all the time. Even in the offline series. DRGs by lore are slayers, you, as an adventurer can follow your own path.
