Fix for camera lock when speaking with NPC?

Personally, i find this extremely aggravating.
I'm not sure if there's a way already to avoid it and i just don't know how, so if there is i hope someone can tell me what it is. Thanks.

If not, i hope that an option to fix this can be introduced sooner than later.
What i mean is how the Camera locks into a certain viewpoint whenever i interact with an NPC for a quest or whatever. And then my camera movement is locked into this limited range unless i zoom far out. I'm a bit obsessive about this, i know, but i like to frame the screen how i like it when i speak with an NPC. I care about the background as being the kind of art frame for the story i am experiencing outside of cut-scenes. Having the camera violently jerk around everytime i interact with one into some ugly framing is just ... *sigh* yeah?

You shouldn't use the word "fix" for things that aren't broken, that you only want to see changed. It's misleading.

Character Configuration - General - At the very bottom under Event Camera Settings, uncheck Look at Target When Speaking. Your character will still look at the NPC, but the camera is now able to move about freely. Current as of 5.55.
This drove me nuts. But not as nuts as someone giving a completely unhelpful, off topic reply.
