He is a tank. Allagan/ilv 70 darklight has Vitality on it, the main advantage to Crafted gear. Not only that but hes almost fully decked out in ilv 90 gear. Go ahead and take your darklight raid to twintania and see how far your DD get with thier <4k hp. rofl.

I was being serious with my post, and it's reflected in the way I gear my Paladin too (http://www.xivarmory.com/character/1555706#Paladin). I'm tired of people saying crafted gear is the end all, be all, when it's entirely dependent on the job and slot.

To clarify, you need to be able to balance your HP with your damage. Having a lot of HP to survive shit is great and all, but if you're not pulling your weight in damage too, there's a problem.

The only job you could even come close to debating it not being better -is- paladin. For every other job it outclasses darklight hands down.
