    I'm still wondering. I feel not using a controller puts me at a disadvantage (toward understand, I mean).

    I don't think this update was necessary considering theres no date for PS3, they do not have to cater for controllers people decided to buy the PC version use a keyboard and mouse. They should not be releasing updates that disappoint the dwindling community, right after they showed a glimmer of hope to recovery with the battle system outlines but alas here we are back on the street gutter.

    I'm the same way about the keyboard. I have no idea how you guys play. One time a few months ago my previous controller finally gave out and I played on keyboard for a night(very badly). Just walking around town and doing some local leves was a struggle. I kept having to look up what the keys did on lodestone.

    So I'm not exactly sure how to relate it to keyboard users, but with controller you use the d-pad to cycle between your actions and then hit Confirm to do it. So you can have brief moments in battle where you abruptly push up/down on it when the action bar isn't up and you just accidentally changed your targeting setup if in /tmode B or highlighted a party member when that's not what you wanted if in /tmode A. If you use autorun a lot and don't pay attention you can accidentally change your targeting setup like that with /tmode A.

    /tmode C sounds nice & simple for easy things, but in a chaotic mess like behest it's nice to use one of the others and target only enemies as a DD or party members as a healer.

    Why they can't just give us ridiculously fast XI macros,<stpc> and <stnpc> is still lost on me. Oh, /assist would be nice too!

    After dat mining I can tell you massive amount of new additions were added, unfortunately a lot are not "updates" or something really to post on the frontpage such as Spriggans getting a change. But a lot of hidden still so im sure it will come eventually.

    They're busy making a new battle system.

    Fixes to the UI would be a waste of time.

    Do I detect a hint of sarcasm?

    Anyways,

    UI team and Battle team are two separate entities. Not to mention, from a coding standpoint, ridiculously easy to implement.
