Random Lag spikes as of 10/26/13 12:00pm EST

So i was going arround minding my own business crafting when suddenly I started to lag realy bad, i had been on the game for about an hour and not seen the first sign of any. I did a tracert to the servers and this is what i get.

As you can see my latency is fine up till it gets to the 192.34.76.2 after that it tripples. Whats going on here, this is as soon as it his the database side in Canada?

Did it start around 11 for you? around 4:00 UK time is when I notice it start. Which I think is 11 EST, could be wrong on that though.

Started having the same problem a few hours ago.

Tried logging in at 3pm est. First of all, I had trouble even getting logged in. The launcher was lagging. Got into game and there was major lag. Seriously, this game is going to be FTP by Christmas because no one is going to want to play a broken mmo.

Saddly its just not affecting enough ppl for SE to work fast enough. While we are seeing lots of complaints we are still a minority. There are still massive amounts of players playing the game with little to no routing/packet loss issues. So our issues will be dealt with in due time but it seems as if we do not have priority here.

If we all just quit and come back in 6 months, there might actually be something to do in the game once you hit level 50. I have decided that I will just not sub for the time being, and come back after a few content updates hoping the lag issues have been dealt with.

1) GETTING THE GAME to run smooth for everyone.

2) Class balance.

3) Introducing patches with updates and new content.

My post was in no way condoning SE's handling of this situation. I am in full agreement with you on this. Sadly this has been affecting me for almost 2 full months no, and I have been here on these forums the whole time. As time goes on I am becoming more cynical about the whole thing than angry.
