Hi all! I've been enjoying reading through all the posts.

I finally got my Chocobo yesterday. I named him Hokuten from my favorite Final Fantasy family. I was going to do Alma Beouvle. Anyways...

There I was riding my chocobo to meet my Guildleader through an area in Upper La Nocea today when suddenly a FATE appeared, and all these Kobold warriors started attacking me. I went to position myself better in order to summon Emerald Carbuncle, and Hokuten and I proceeded to tumble off a cliff. I then found myself in Bentbranch Meadows.

I wonder if others were able to save the village from Kobolds?

Nope, all dead.

But the Kobolds are doing surprisingly well as the new tenants. They don't really understand the value of money making the village a merchants dream :P

Does...anyone know if there's a spot where you can actually see Gridania from outside Gridania...?

I don't think you can see Gridania from anywhere except the Black Shroud no. All them trees in the way!

Also, those screen shots are beautiful and make me long for a PS4(can hardly wait until February!). I think this game looks great on my PS3 & low end PC mind you, but those shots are just gorgeous.
