    Hi HealBus!

    I highly doubt they'd ever make it per job. It's an increase by a factor of 9 (or however many jobs you have at 50) in the amount of runs people could make per week. They'd need to seriously nerf drop rates and tomes.

    Realistically I think they would lower the lockout if it was to be changed. If they were to drop it to say, bi-weekly, we'd have to be accepting of the fact that we might get less tomes and/or drops per run, at least if they did it before the next patch. After that it's anyone's guess what they might do with it, hopefully they'll have a lot of opportunity to ease restrictions when CT comes along.

    imo the issue is not mytho cap but lack of content that drop gear.

    If CT turn into 1-2h/week no repeat , then I agree their will still have gearing issue

    Do you know what this means? You're only going to run Raids (this includes Crystal Tower) with 1 job and you're only going to use Myth on 1 job. Do you know what this means? Playing more than 1 job serves little purpose.
    because you can't enjoy playing a job if it isn't i90geared? or cant farm i80raid(?) with i70gear?

    + per job cap means you cant use your i90geared job to farm so it make it useless

    There's no such thing as an MMO that doesn't gate gear progression. This is no different than weekly caps on tokens in any other game. No different at all. Obviously, they will not change it until a new tier of tokens comes out, in which case philo tomes will be deprecated and myth tomes will become the new philo tomes. If you don't know why then you aren't thinking very clearly. Letting the tryhards cap out within a month or two after launch will cause them to unsubscribe and wait for the next content patch/expansion.

    They have to hard-cap progression at a certain point to keep the tryhards subscribed.

    The alternative is for the developers to decide the tryhards aren't worth keeping and go full casual, which tends to be more lucrative financially anyway. Ya'll should be grateful they haven't done that.

    I think that there should be a total limit so if you don't claim any myth on the current week it should accumulate towards the next week. So as the game been out for 5 weeks (I think, at this point in time) you should be able to get 1500 myth tomes and once you hit 1500 you cant get any more, that way it fair for everyone as it took me 3 weeks to complete story so I missed out of 900 myth tomes, this give me a disadvanage as I don't have a relic + 1 so people wont do the high ends dungeons with me, so I'm getting punish beacuse I did not rush out the story and get it done in the first week.

    Make it fair SE, make it accumulate, give me a change to get my 900 myth back.

    I think it's pretty silly that I can queue almost instantly as a SCH and gear up my BLM job.

    Edit: Also, we don't know when gear becomes obselete, or if that will be the case if the Levelcap goes up. Maybe we can upgrade them as well into +1 like the weapons? We really do not know that yet. New Content hardly means making existing Gear obselete, it could be horizontal progression as well if the first expansion comes out. Don't have to be vertical and since we do not even know the stats of AF2 ( shown in last live letter ), it could be questable, upgrade from Relic, Drops from other Content or whatever. Don't have to fall under Myth, or could even be the third, fourth etc. kind of tome, with a different cap.

    I'll address the rest of your post. I can already gear 9 jobs, they just have to be on separate characters. Is not one of the defining features of this game the fact you can play all classes on one character? Why did they even give you the ability to job change if they are only going to let you gear up one or two of them per character?

    Does it make sense to cripple one of your game's only unique features and make it so hardcore players have to run the main story nine times to keep all their gear up to date?
