I am a visual learner myself. It's a matter of turning text into an image and linking that image with the image of the scenery at that crystal. Or the location on the map *shrug*Many people are visual learners, and to those of us who are, words on a page generally mean very little without diagrams to back them up. It's extremely hard for me to visualize where locations in-game are when going off a string of words, but if you toss a map at me, I'll know exactly where something is. What's so wrong with having the teleport system (and the aethernet system in towns) function as a map rather than in list form?
Because casual = lazy? Gotcha.
