Your previous reply would have had me leave had you not attempted to mock me while typing it and I would have been on my way to another threat. But alas I'm afraid you're stuck with me and my opinion. So lets get back on topic since that's what you called your Forum police out here to do.

Your wife, who I assume is Terri, made a point that no one would kill these HNMs/NMs if all they dropped was Vanity gear yet I stand to reason that they would because it is vanity gear. In this day and age in MMO's everyone is all about Vanity Gear. Whether it could be some new barding for their chocobo, materials to craft furniture or Vanity gear/Barding. Or furniture and Vanity gear in general. Maybe these NM/HNM's could drop things that while may seem savory and full of potential; are not required in the long run to be the best.

Let's take WoW for example. Some of the rares in Pandaria drop things that are nice but not necessary. Such as one Rare.. Drops an EXP potion that grants 200% or so EXP bonus for 1 hour. Is non reusable yet stackable. This is something I could see SE doing.

You know.. a little gratitude and notice for my suggestions would have been nice. Through out this thread I made two suggestions that could help support his proclamation of getting NM's and HNM's back in this game; but both of them were ignored. Instead I was lashed at for stating my opinion and reasons in a Suggestions thread and the OP failed to reply with his reasons to counter argument my own. (I.E. Saying the same thing as the original post doesn't count.) Page 1 was all fine, we were on track with the discussion; but come page 2 he decides to mock me as if he can read my typing off as though it were an emotion. Page 3 he was getting back on track but then he decided to make a mockery of my typing. And then you and Memento joined in to further derail this thread by mocking the way I type things.

So honestly; the OP getting all flustered and this thread derailing is all his doing as well as your own. I take blame only that I was egged on from having a civil discussion to being down right bullied for what I think is reasonable.

Im not his wife, just a fc member who agrees with him that this game needs more to do.

If you could have all the content finished and have nothing left to do, you would be on the same boat as us. Yoshi-p cant just cater to the casuals, or he will lose a lot of people. its already happening with what we have. This game needs a grind and more social aspects to keep players. How it is now its going to die fast like many other games. Its nice but it gets old way too fast.

I vote no to open world NM. Camping spawn time that spawn at 4 am in the morning is not fun.
To make hardcore players happy. You can have this... Extreme Ifrit/Garuda/Titan Mode (by the end of the year, if you still playing)
Oh the horror, now everyone will add more restrictions to group make up. [example"LFM Extreme Titan must have Relic +1/Allagan/non ps3/know fight/ 2 death = boot PST"]
People complaining about not enough content need to relax until more patches are released. Not all game developers can keep up with hard core player that plays more then 6-8 hours a day and clear everything that is offer and start complaining there is not enough content. This seem to be the issue in many mmo games. BTW 6-8 hours a day is either 20 hours to 40 hours a week of game play. That is a part time to full time career in FFXIV character development. You beat the game, congratulation!! Please wait 2-3 months for the next update patch so you can beat the game again in 2 weeks or less.

Open world will keep people busy and driven for years. It's also fun.
Nobody is holding a gun to your head to camp anything at 4 in the morning. You're being dramatic. Dramatics seem to be what everyone relies on when they whine about hating open world. It's a little nauseating.
As for the rest of your post, it's just a diatribe about what other people are doing in the game that's completely irrelevant to the topic, which goes back to my claim about you and your ilk forming lame opinions on the issue of open world that are driven entirely by envy and hatred for more efficient, organized and better players than yourselves.

Right now the game is this: You can be somewhat decent and farm endgame gear in an endgame instance, or you can completely suck and farm comparable (or superior) gear by spamming mindless dungeons like AK or WP.
If that's Yoshi P's vision, this game will perish.

Three years after Yoshi P seizes the reigns of the game and we're still having conversations wondering if the game is going to suck and die. Very worrisome.

I have no idea why endgame content needs the bad player stamp of approval when they won't be participating in it anyway.

Your concept to content sucks. Why is there a Tiamat destroying central shroud at 4 am in the morning? Open world NM will not add more content to this game. It will only make your FC happy because you think it is a great idea. Hardcore player base are very hard to please because if you get it wrong. They quit. If you get it right. Some quit. Cannot please them all. We do not need open world NM as a gearing option. It does not work and only bring out conflict. I used to be in Order of Blue Gartr on bahamut server when it was young. There were drama left and right on gear drop distribution and people un-equipping LS when they do not get their way. We do not need a repeat of that in FFXIV. Surely, there is not enough content for hardcore players to enjoy right now, but open world NM is not the solution. Ravij already told you why open world name monster does not work and it is true.

And your ability to lead a convincing counter debate sucks even more. Honestly no ones going to take you seriously or for the matter; like an adult, if you take peoples opinions and shred them to pieces without any reason-ability to your responses. Hence why I believe you're getting so flustered because less people are posting that they support your idea and more are posting that they do not support your idea.

As I stated before; you completely ignored my proposal a few pages back, which is why I'm failing to take you seriously. All you want is HNM and NM's for Hardcore players and you want it NOW NOW NOW. Or else in your eyes "The game will fail and fall." Honestly between three servers in the NA/EU region being population capped and over 2,000 people online every day on each server I fail to see how this game will fail and fall when it's still in it's early stages of re-release.

I could think of more to say but I'd honestly be wasting my time on a hot-headed, flustered, gimmick. I'd much rather spend my posts on a thread with an OP that is more reasonable then telling someone their concept sucks.
