All Healers should DPS.
All Healers should DPS.

I'm glad more and more people are seeing the value in healer DPS. At the very least you should be Cleric Stance > Aero II > Aero as by the time your 2nd dot lands Cleric Stance should be up again and you can switch it off.
I think there's a slight misconception around this whole topic.
In general, I don't run with static groups, for anything. Sometimes I queue with a friend for AK, WP, or some noobier dungeons for fun, but a lot of the times, it's 100% randoms. In these situations, you don't know how sturdy/experienced your tank is, if the dps are going to be pulling aggro or attacking the proper marked targets, or if someone is one of "those people" who seems to enjoy standing in AoE's and other fun stuff. In these PUG situations, about 80% of the time, I don't DPS, unless I know a boss fight by heart, know when he will be doing his attacks and have time for it. But if I find out our group has a great, and sturdy tank, and competent DPS, then a lot of the times I'll Aldo the tank and hit Cleric Stance, and swap back only when heals are needed - like health gets close to 50% ish.
If you're running with any sort of static group, or hell, even just with a tank friend who you know can always keep enmity and has good defenses and can manage cooldowns well, then for sure you can reliably DPS things.
I DPS on my SCH and WHM all the time in Cleric stance. Keeps me awake.
But Titan or Coil? Yha forget it, not happening lol .

I like to think that when my tank is that good, and I am not struggling to heal, my tank can just grab some more mobs and we can have an AOE fest. If I wanted to DPS, I would have rolled one of those classes. Yeah, perhaps my attitude is wrong. But I already have to manage a lot keeping up with your healing needs, debuff removal, and having to watch out for move-mechanics (which I don't find fun because I can rarely get to just stare at the boss and the ground below my feet due to having to stare at name plates).
You might can talk me out of more than the occasional White or Aeros if you can help me figure out how to justify the mana burn and where to put all of the extra buttons.
Maybe when I get more gear I will look for a way to do all of this. Right now? I am just healing. You pull stuff, and I heal stuff, and they kill stuff, and let's all just get along![]()

This works really well in WP and AK as long as you don't have a try hard undergeared tank who keeps pulling too much agro. If that happens then you get stuck spam healing the entire dungeon.
Had this happen once with a tank recently. All I can say is if a tank loses hate on a regen, they're bad. All it takes is a few Flashes/Overpower to make it a non-issue. That same tank also couldn't hold hate against the DPS either, and he had a Relic.I don't use Divine Seal much partially because of a lack of habit, but mainly because of hate control. I can come close to stealing hate with a normal Regen and Stone II spam, let alone Holy. The last thing I need is Regen gathering more hate for extra healing I didn't actually need.
A good tank will be tab-targetting their RoH/BB combo and putting Flash into their rotation occasionally.
