    All I'm hearing from some people is "I got mine, F you!". Titan absolutely has to be made more forgiving if anyone who hasn't bought the win or is lucky enough to be in an elite (not elitist, mind you) FC is to make any progress. Fights that are challenging is one thing, fights that are stressful is quite another. On top of that, dealing with impatient d-bags who bail after 1 or 2 tries makes the experience that much less comfortable.

    But I guess none of that will get through the heads of people who think every game should be impossible to be a challenge.

    They did say that as new content comes in, older content will be made easier so more people can experience it. Also, I'm not in a FC at all, working on my 6th Relic now. None of my wins were carries or bought either.

    How would the fight be made easier or more forgiving, though? Everything occurs in a static pattern. If anything, I could see lowering the HP on the heart phase simply because bringing two tanks can be a liability and clearing the fight is therefore unlikely (although not impossible) in the duty finder. This would also allow people to get more final phase practice in, which is when things start getting really messy once you finally do manage to take down the heart.

    The fight is a roadblock for a lot of people, admittedly. I got my relic after my group threw itself at titan for a little bit under a week, and now I go back and try to help other people get their wins. The game needs roadblocks to a certain extent, though. If Titan is made easier, the next roadblock would be CT/Coil, the latter of which is considerably more demanding (gear-wise, if not mechaninc-wise). I've seen titan clears where a group member eats ye olde fatal landslide before the heart and still walks away with a win under their belt. What happens when the people who can't dodge plumes or pre-cast for MB/Tumults start complaining that Caduceus is "too hard"? It's a slippery slope.

    I can understand frustrations (I was there myself, afterall), but if you take it as a cue to really re-evaluate your strengths and weaknesses (both as a group and as an individual) you will come out of the fight a lot more successful than if you merely write off the fight as unreasonable, or something of that sort.

    Just my two cents I guess.

The healers need to keep their heads up and not focus only on the health bars... or you loose. DPS needs to know what to hit, and when to save cd's, and when to stop engaging to save their lives... or you loose. Tanks need to learn how to time their cool downs, reposition, and hold threat off tons of healing.... or you loose. These are all skills you need in the coil. My free company, which is a turn 4 coil group, wiped on Titan allot. Hell, even relic'ed out we don't always 1 shot him when bringing new people. We did not get carried... we learned the skills needed and it prepared us for Coil. As stated by MANY people already... Titan is the door to the harder endgame content. If you cant beat him the way it currently is, its not gonna get any easier for you.

    This thread is still going?

    This game has a LOT of circle AoEs, so no matter how predictable and dodgeable it is, EVERYONE will claim that the lag is unplayable and the fight is unbeatable, until they beat. I would link individual posts but this has been going on for the whole damn game. People find out theres hard content, the big FCs will start a crusade to say its buged, someone beats it, and then everyone claims the content is too easy and the game is bad.

    >Titan's unbeatable, can't dodge landslides or weights!
    >ADs is unbeatable, the AoEs are jsut too fast
    >Twintania is bugged, LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE (For real this time) TO DODGE DIVEBOMBS

    They don't need to fix the connections. What they can do is change the timers on the casts so that you have more than an instant to start moving to get out of multiple plumes the second you see them spawn beneath you.

    It works perfectly on World of Warcraft, so yes, they could. And if we want to talk about other MMO's on PS3, it also works perfectly on DC Universe. There's no excuse. There's also no excuse that we can't see where our servers are located and we can't see the ping to our servers so as to make a better informed decision on where we should make our characters.

    I've only recently found out that my server is in Europe, after a guildie pointed out how to check out the server time. Woulda been nice to know before I made my character but whatever. Water under the bridge at this point.

    While no one would argue that fixing the lag would be amazing, i still think fights like titan have their place in mmos. Just not this place.

    Imo Titan would be the perfect fight to earn your relic because that should be hard. What I dislike is that Titan is required to open up new content, forcing people to do it. Leave him as a challenge for those who want an extra difficulty in their game (and relic weapon).

    Except I've known multiple people in WoW and other MMOs get heavy lag/DC issues, completely outside what the game devs can control. So no, it's not perfect. ISPs are not perfect, peers are not perfect, people are not perfect. But the customers in this case always blame one party for ANY of those possibilities, and I see it with other game companies too. Saying it doesn't happen is ignorance, plain and simple.

    Also, there are no servers in Europe. All the NA/EU ones are in Montreal, Canada. And JP are of course in Japan.

    I brought up doing something like that, and that it makes the fight exponentially more easy, the more time you add. Even half a second would turn Titan into a yawnfest.

    Uh? The content after Titan is what is considered end game. As others have said, Coil isn't necessarily as demanding as Titan mechanics or dodging wise, but it's end game. And if you aren't going to be doing coil, a Relic is only for show at that point. And honestly, only for show now, I can't see someone with a relic now and think they have a decent reaction time or what not, what with all the merc groups and carries happening.
