I think everyone has low expectations, the only way they could mess it up is with a nerf.

I wouldn't be so sure given the track record of people on this forum. They SHOULD not expect much from this upcoming patch, but i'm sure we'll still see threads damning SE and all its employees because it didn't deliver whatever they think should be in there.

Also, I don't know where you're getting this from. I mostly see people making sarcastic posts and exaggerating what they expect in the patch for S#!&s and giggles. Maybe you're mistaking these posts as being serious? lol

I can't wait to be let down by this patch.

I mean my expectations are really low right now, but I know somehow they'll find a way to make it more underwhelming than originally believed to be.

There's no way to avoid it really, even the major patches have been less than inspiring. If we had any hopes for what patches bring, we'd just be setting ourselves up for disappointment and frustration. The only way I can enjoy the game anymore is to just not hope for, or expect, anything from it.

Problem is, I bet like there are only 75 total people complaining nonstop over this game, but only 100 play it.

That was a pretty popular opinion, was mine as well, but I don't think that's going to be a justifiable stance for too much longer. The last Letter from the Producer was an unprecedented piece of news. You did read it right? If its just that you don't believe what it says, then that's one thing. If you're not exactly enamored with the information, then that's another. But while those promises haven't been fulfilled yet, it's still the first time -so much- information in such specific detail was given. They're digging themselves an awfully deep grave to promise these drastic, and popular, changes if they have no intention of delivering them. IF they mess it up and give excuses as to why they can't deliver, then so be it. They'll have no one to blame but themselves for the negative responses to continue.

But I think the days of underwhelming patches...to the extent that they have been...are over. We'll see in June!
