Determination and DoT damage (SMN) -- How much DET = 1 damage?

Okay so I tested with my scholar, and found that at like 100+ less determination I was only healing for slightly less (and this didn't affect anyone's heals on me), so I quickly found that the stat sucks for healers.

HOWEVER, I wasn't sure how to go about testing this [accurately] on DoTs with my summoner. Does anyone know exactly how much determination you need to add 1 damage to each dot?

I understand that 6-7 determination = 1 main stat, or something like that, but I'm really interested in knowing if someone could translate to me exactly (or approximately) how much determination you need to add 1 damage to your dots.

(And also some sort of reliable evidence would be helpful. Doesn't have to be a parser, but tests on a dummy or screenshots or video would be appreciated )


If any of the developers or anyone could post this information I'd appreciate it as well.

I read on chocobro that det doesn't affect dots.

Not that it doesn't affect them, just that the scaling is horrible.

They found ~+30 det is +1 damage per tick, approximately.
