How long did you take to beat Titan?

A question, Why do you need this relic if your not into raiding? (Cause raiding sometimes causes stress) Genuine question.

Also 1st relic I did with 3 pieces of DL and an Ifrit book, FC did it in 3 shots I believe (cant remember)

I agree with your first point but as to your second... assuming you did it with your FC. I would certainly call that being carried. Having half your DL and AK gear for the rest is one thing, but 3 DL pieces?

So titan can be done in bikini's but not 3 pieces of DL? with 3 pieces (and AK gear) you have over 3.1k hp which is satisfactory.

If your referring to Type of group for titan, I wouldn't ever PUG DF randoms for it, so I don't know what you would want me to say, Everyone in my FC had DL gear not full DL but some. this was of course the first month of release.

I wasnt arguing , was just referencing it, my apologies.

Point being you don't need Full DL for titan. And if you do I suggest you find a better group of players / friends / FC to do titan with.

Need? No, but it certainly helps with having higher HP and damage/healing assuming your skill level doesn't increase.

The fight isn't about gear. This is the reason people have such a low opinion of pick-up groups; they base their success rate off of gear that is handed out for attendance (Talking about DL here in case that wasn't clear). The fact of the matter is you only need to be able to burn down the heart phase and then the rest of the fight is about knowledge. It's painfully simple to do if you have someone calling out Titan's rotation during the fight.

I like collecting things, it's a quest, I'm curious to see what happens, and Crystal Tower is coming soon, Yoshi-P said that maybe it will require a Relic. Being in the Duty Finder and more "casual" by his own words, I think I'll have fun on it without having to memorize what the bosses do step by step ^^

To what end though? Only reason to get your Relic, and beat Titan is to get into Coils, which is just more of the same....
