why have a greed roll if you can't convert, or sell green's or pink's or anything besides normal stuff? it makes no sense that all of these items are untradable. Either remove greed roll from the game, because it's pointless, or make it so you can convert/vendor any equipment.

I just discarded 8-10 items because they were of no use to me and I could do nothing with them. If discard is the only option remove greed. But, it'd be so much better, and make much more sense if you could sell whatever you want, not be governed to only be able to sell certain things. It was a dumb idea, and needs to be removed.

Some of those items can be turned in for seals with your Grand Company.
Also, a lot of people level their other classes so being able to get gear for those while playing on another is nice.

If you don't want the item then you should pass so someone else can get it that will put it to some kind of use.

Some of us also help out our friends get their dungeons completed by going on jobs that we don't need gear for but could still use stuff that drops for other jobs.

I greed everything because if I can't use it for an alt class I'll just turn it in for GC seals.

You can convert pink aetherial gears. As for green, there's a bug right now that if you have too many of those and pinks in your armoury, you don't see them show up in the company turn-in. Put some in retainer and do multiple trips to your local friendly grand company.

Is that whats going on? I keep thinking I'm crazy when trying to turn things in and something doesn't show up then I turn in something else and *bam* the first item shows up.

.... not to be rude. look up the definition of greed, and come back to me. greed means, noone needs it, so it's up for grabs. if someone needed it, it wouldn't be a greed roll... as for the seals. i guess that's cool. forgot about that, but still, i should be able to turn them into gil if I choose to.

If don't need don't greed, if going to end up discarding it!
