Try spamming your abilities while on the move. I've noticed the location tends to only update when an ability queue is sent to the server.I uploaded a video, enjoy

In the video you were never attempting to activate an ability until literally just after the bosses cast finished, this gave the server an update to your location just late of the attack (indicating a hit as far as it knows).

Always remember the Silver Rule:
"Treat others as they treat you!" ...or something like that.

I must agree with this one, sometimes i dodge it...sometimes i dont even doing it at the same time.
Its really annoying
There's an inherent 300ms latency issue as is. Making some positioning/dodging mechanics appear bugged, but it's all server side. I've been told to work around this latency issue (EVERYONE HAS IT) if you send a command (a spell/skill) it will force an update on your positioning. Not sure if it's true or not, but I rarely seem to get hit... Try it out see if it helps!![]()

It seems plausible. I don't know if it's any good, but I have the reflex to jump. My assumption is that when jumping, the client must update your location with the server to be sure you didn't fall somewhere. If you just move without doing anything else, we already know the client doesn't update in realtime your position with the server. You can test this by moving around on one computer and watching yourself on another (from another account, obviously). There's an inherent 300ms latency issue as is. I didn't think about using an ability instead, I'll give it a try.
Jumping used to be a problem in WoW, not sure about here however, in WoW the problem was, if you jumped out of an AoE, if you didn't make a command after you landed (running counted as a command) after you landed, you were still registered at the point in which you jumped. Meaning there was a slight delay on the update of exiting an AoE. I would probably suggest avoiding the tendency of jumping until it's confirmed how it works by MLG pro elitists. I find myself doing it a lot too, but remember it also slows your ability to react if something else happens while you're in the air... seeing as you can't change direction of your running until you land.

So you needed two threads to complain about this?

It used to happen to me A LOT but not so much now that as soon as i get out of the effect, i cast a spell and it registeres where i am at then.
