Fish -> Shards recipe needs to come back, because so many fish caught are completely useless and are only for vendor trash.. its a stupid system to put in hundreds of fish, of which only a few are useful.
I read somewhere that Fishing is not meant to affect the economy by design choice; i.e. it's supposed to be worthless.
Fisher is my highest level, and I frequently end up discarding loads of trash fish to free up inventory slots. It'd be great if we could recycle them properly.
For a discipline that doesn't effect the economy, some of the fished up items are sure selling for a lot on the markets.

I'm currently leveling all the DoH together, and 29 - 36 in all of them. My main clas is just lv 29.
Alc is probably the easiest to level. There are triple leves that require one synth to make (raw materials make the final product) Meanwhile the armorer leves I'm looking at take 8+ synths just to make the item requested... and you need 9 to get the max benefit... It was literally more then 30minutes to complete those kind of triplers once, while I could complete the alc triplers in a few minutes.
Alc potions are usefull. As a healer, if I'm taking damage, and close to pulling threat a healing potion is super useful. Ethers usually aren't necesary, but in a good group where I can DPS while healing, they definitely make a differnce. Status effects that otherwise would cause a wipe are also useful. Maybe these aren't overly special or unique, but they're about as useful as anything else you craft :/
Regarding profits... I can't spek specifically to end-game... but again the fact that many alc recipes are rediculously easy should be reflected in their smaller profit margins.

How about give Alchemists the ability to breakdown potions and a chance to convert them back into the raw materials? Or break those crappy resistance potions into their respective elemental shards?
