Endgame Grind More Broken Than Before Patch

First of all, I want to say: this doesn't affect me. I run this stuff with my FC and... well, look at my gear! I could care less, because it doesn't bother ME.

But when I look at /shout in Revenant's Toll, all I see is:

"LFM WP need BLM and BRD"
"LF DPS for WP BLM only"
"LF1M BLM for WP"
"LF BRD for WP"

While it's true that the AK grind sucked, at least it didn't create class discrimination. Now what? The only people allowed to grind endgame are BLM, BRD, tanks and healers? This seems like a pretty big problem, honestly.

Should just make the mobs in WP magic resistant. Take 10% less damage from magic, take 10% more damage from melee.

Bam, fixed.

I personally think it's hilarious. I've been in revenant's toll mining for a bit now, and I keep seeing the same person shout for specific jobs for "speed runs" for 2+ hours now. The irony of taking extra time to shout for specific jobs so the actual run goes a tad faster just totally cracks me up.

^ This so much. As a tank I can DF 2-3 runs in the time it takes to set up their "speed runs" to save 10mins.

Sounds like typical Ultros to me. It goes beyond class discrimination....Had a tank who pulled the plug because our WP run couldn't pull all the mobs to the first boss and AoE them down.

I wouldn't say its so much discrimination, but its people that are looking specifically for speed runs. In this case you can complete WP in under 15 minutes with geared AOE DPS.

Not really.

Most speedrunning groups only want certain classes, meaning you need to use DF if you want to try and speedrun if you have none of those classes.

I made 400 tomes on df before the group forming in revenants toll entered wp

I did a run with a blm and the time was pretty good, the next run i did it with another drg and we finished it faster...sooo those people who just want aoes are wasting their time.
