    Why aren't we using all of this wonderful content?

    After a revisit of Darkhold this morning, (where I had a blast.) It makes me wonder...

    Why don't we have a scaled up hard mode of all the dungeons? No need to change the mechanics... I mean the Batraal mechanic is far more exciting than anything the level 50 instances have to offer.

    You see after you finish the story line, you have this very limited selection of things to choose from to continue to progress. Legacy players who were already capped may never even revisit the lower level dungeons.

    Scaled dungeons, iLvl 60 versions of the gear and some tomes would surely give the FFXIV community tons of fun and a lot more options as far as useful gear costuming, and general variety in entertainment.

    A very good idea that will take quite a bit of development time and SE has higher priorities right now. Scaling a dungeon isn't like updating your facebook page, it will take a lot of time and effort but SE clearly has a ton on their plate. After all 90% of their player base are all crying for 1,000,000 different new features and wondering why SE can't produce a matured 10 year old MMO within a few months.

    A lot of MMOs do this in the long run, it will take time but I'm sure you will see it.

    I would agree there's a priority order here to what SE has highest interest in providing... but just out of curiosity why would it be so difficult to scale up the dungeons?

    They already have a "stronger version" of each of the mobs we see in the game, and plenty of statistical data to scale up the bosses enough to be challenging yet not overwhelming.

    SE has already stated that HM Dungeons will be implimented. In fact, we should be seeing at least 1 or two being released in 2.1 along with harder mode Primals.

    What do you mean? Legacy players and end-game players can always level a alt. Once they finish all their alts... not sure what else they can do. They most likely explored all the game has to offer. This is why I want pvp! Can't wait.

    This is why its important to release a full range of content at release. Instead of releasing a shell for the game then SLOWLY adding little bits in at a time.

    With no pvp, and very little end game... I find it baffling why SE chose to make it possible to max level any class in 3 days time. Baffling.

    Exactly what I mean by legacy players. I went into 2.0 with all jobs capped except for Arcanist. This means I don't have any reason to visit these dungeons more than once or twice as I pass through. But they are fun and I would surely revisit them often if they offered useable rewards.

    I also really enjoyed the look of some of the gear I've found in them along the way. Here's to wishing I could find high level gear that looked the same or similar.

    Before I say anything, I totally support what you want. My only problem is once you run these dungeon over and over again if or once they become hard mode end game dungeons (adjectives...) they will become boring. That is why they have patches with a bunch of new content in MMOs. To keep us going. I say look forward to the future, don't worry so much about the past.

    However, I would like to see HM of the lower lv dungeons. Oh silly pirate who thought he could befriend a fishy monster.

    Oh no doubt, I don't want to be stuck doing the current selections for the rest of my Tome farming career either. However having this large selection to choose from would surely keep the game feeling smooth and fun at this turn where you transition from gearing up to coil. I mean just trying each hard mode once would dress you iLvl 60-70, while presenting a variety of new challenges.

    I find it funny how people who can't even maximize the full potential of their characters (missing vital cross class abilities) can point fingers at SE for not providing them everything they want.
