Yeah, it's frustrating to lose your mats because of a disconnect but if we were allowed to keep the mats people would certainly abuse it.

Agreed. You can _force_ a disconnect easily enough. If you know you're likely to NQ with 9 coke on the line and you can do ANYTHING to get it back and try again you probably would. I'd suggest that disconnecting just pause your synthesis so you can log back in and resume it. It is probably harder on the programmers but it solves the problem without creating an exploit.
