I love when people rant about terrain "exploits."

Does anyone remember killing the Dynamis Lord? Fighting him near a ledge, casters/ranged on a lower level (Or was it upper level? Been so long I forget) so they don't get hit by AOE's? Did anyone rage that this was an exploit? Doubt it. Did it all the time in two shells I was in and no one batted an eye.

This was working in an intended way.

Now, dragging certain NMs in abyssea to a certain part of a cliff that negates ALL damage even from the one TANKING it? that is a terrain exploit.

Are you completely missing the point? The Dynamis Lord could move. You were not immune from him on the ledge. You mean to tell me that no DD's stand outside of redcircles when they have a tank?

What is a little weird in this game is in most MMO's mobs just walk straight up ledges that they can't walk around. I am sure with a little effort I could find threads like this in most MMO's that were patched. I believe the wording I remember is pathfinding.
