I don't think there is any way to completely remove RMT unless SE start selling their own, which they won't.
I always ask them in a polite manner to stop sending me tells, and more often than most they do for the rest of the day.

Too late. One of my FC members got stuck in a DF run with a tank who was spouting Gil messages the whole run (!).
"Once the landslide has begun, it is too late for the pebbles to vote."

Why are they even a problem? They sent you a tell, ok cool just make a macro /blist add <r>. That blists the last person who sent you a tell.
If they shout in /shout, ignore it. There is nothing being discussed in /shout in cities that's worth listening to anyways. For that matter just move your FC and LS chat to another tab and when you go into a city go to that tab.
It ticks people off to receive the spam, but is it really preventing you from doing something? Is it hindering your ability to play the game? Is it causing you to wipe on titan HM? Is it preventing you from leveling a character? Does it prevent you from crafting? Does it interupt fishing?
It's annoying for sure, but do we need to be spammers on the forums too? And what are they suppose to do about it. Give me 1 solution to this problem that doesn't negatively impact legit players and I'm all ears.

Well, I still want SE to get rid of all Gil sellers.

frees up room on servers for real players.
Deserve's got nothing to do with it. We fight for money because fighting for fun is too horrible to admit.

SE makes money for every RMt that they ban. Since players buy the gil, the RMT are able to buy a new account for 30 bucks even if they are banned and still make money. The toons holding all of the gold are not the ones spamming. The ones holding the gil never say anything to you, and therefore do not get banned. RMT makes money, SE makes money and we suffer the spam. Ignore them or quit, your choice.
That's cute.
So you're saying that the 367 billion gil they removed was falsified to push the secret square agenda in support of RMT because the RMT guys will buy more accounts?
No. RMT don't advertise with accounts they buy for $30, they advertise with accounts they steal from people with shared passwords. If they were going to buy any accounts, it would be the ones that they actually hold the gil on, to ensure that the original owners don't contact support and try to get their account back.
SE can see which characters are holding billions of gil, "not spamming chat" isn't going to be enough to hide. In fact, SE has to pay for people to support the people whose accounts have been stolen by RMT spammers and deal with the credit card chargebacks of accounts and game time caused by the stolen credit card numbers used by the RMT sellers, and the STF to track down and ban the RMT.
I felt like the spam has gotten a lot better in the past week. I don't see them nearly as often in /sh. They still send /tells though, but one step at a time. What they are doing is slowly working. I think their chat filters must be getting slightly better.

I wouldn't worry so much. They have deleted four names from my massive blacklist of gil sellers since I've been playing. So in a couple of thousand years they will get them all. You just have to be patient.

I haven't seen ANY RMT shouts in over a week. As for Tells maybe one or two a day and if I Blist them 0.
