

Fixed that for you.Content Locusts aren't happy now. Point systems are boring to begin with, and SE is making it worse by capping what we can accomplish in a given week. Not to mention there is only one dungeon worth doing. You mindlessly run it just to get a number at the end. No items of real value, no gil, no depth. Nothing. That's not going to fly.
yes but they might be special quest in the future that can only be activated with all jobs max lvl for special items MAYBE!!!
also if you do lvl each clase on a new character theres is a 8 char max restriction and if your server is full you cant make new characters also if a new clase comes out in the future you wont have chat slots unless you delete one


1,000,000 times this!!!!!I'm just going to throw this out there because I can but, if gearing up your other jobs is your main complaint saying its because of the myth cap... Wouldn't you be better off raising the craft jobs to 50? If you get them all to 50, then HQing gear is easy, including the 2 star items. That gear is actually better than myth gear when HQ, so why not do it? Would itbe boring? Heck yes it would... However the time it would take to max them out would be much faster than grinding myth for all the classes and you'd end up with better gear.
This argument puts in stark relief the complaints from the content locusts.
I already had that gear at launch. Because I'm such a "locust" I actually saved up a bunch of HQ mats from 1.0 and had HQ craftd gear within 2 weeks of launch. :3
Never underestimate the locust. Now I'm just trying to hoover the next level so I can log off for a couple of weeks plz.

How many years did that bow stay relevant? How many years did it stay 2nd to relic? 5? 6? 7? 8 years?
How many years did RELICS stay BEST IN SLOT? 8 ? 9? 10 years?
How many years does my myth tome/relic +1 stay relevant? 3-4 months? 6-8 if a new tier is every other content patch like 2.0 - > 2.2?(Yoshi-p stayed content patches will be every 3-4 months) Then how many months does it take to gear up a single job in myth gear? 4-5 months? Hmm, so by the time I gear up a single job, maybe two, in myth tome gear the gear becomes outdated because a new tier of gear is introduced. Then I have to do the same LONG BORING RESTRICTED GRIND all over again.
That's horrible design, I'm also not going to support a company, or pay $13-$15 per month to be restricted with how many times I can play and how often(coil lock outs) per week, or how fast I can gear up my classes(myth tome caps), and not be able to play the game as much as I want despite paying MONTHLY to play. That's BS, grade A BS.
I expect better from a pay to play MMO, hell, I've never played a free to play MMO with such insane time-gated gear or dungeon lock outs, why should I be ok with it in a game I'm paying monthly for?
A free to play MMO, named elsword, with stamina limiting how often you can play, lets me play the best most challenging/fun content for over 10x longer than this game does for week. I can do dungeons for over 5 hours PER DAY, yet in this game, a game I'm paying for, I can do 3 hours of dungeons(1 hour of coil, 2 of others for myth tomes) before I stop gaining progress, and I can only do 1 hour of the only fun/challenging content PER WEEK before I can't again. I can spam the hardest dungeons in elsword for over 5 hours PER DAY and constantly get more money, more gear, and constantly progress my char at my own rate and I'm paying $0.00/year, yet a $13-15/monthly sub game limits me over 10x more than a free to play game? The best part: On weekends there's NO stamina limit and I can play literally for 48 hours straight farming as much gear and money as I want upgrading my characters gear as quickly as I want and maxing out how fast I want every single weekend, as well as collecting stamina potions which allow me to play even longer on weekdays. Take that in for a moment, and realize how HILARIOUS that is.
If crystal tower has a weekly lock out per character, or PVP gear is myth tome time-gated token based per character, me and my significant other are OUT.

Wonder what's up with the ppl stating the cap is there for longevity reasons... even better, wonder what those ppl will do when their relics and DL will be done for all their jobs.. gonna try to farm myths? oh wait.. the cap is there simply to keep us subbed, end of the story. Once the cap is reached and coil locked, there's literally no reason to play, while there is a good reason to sub.. doing that stuff again next week.
The longevity, often mentioned here, is gained through timesinks and low drop rates (i won't be mentioning the good parts of a game, that's not what we're talking about).. that keeps ppl playing AND subbing. Community cryed out for timesinks to be removed and for better drop rates..well, now we all have it ^^ 100% drop rate once a week per turn cleared in coil and item trade ins (that literally suck out of the dungeons any kind of fun and replace it with the concept of "chore"). Too bad that the replacement picked by SE (weekly cap and coil lock outs) is a vastly worse system for the players (not for SE, it's probably better for them since 13$ a month for 5-8 days of actual gaming isn't bad at all for the company).
Guess it's also worth mentioning that one of the selling points of this game was and is "no need to create alts, play whatever class you want on one character"...well, funny enough, but i never felt the need of making alts till 2.0 came out.

I hate to advocate for lower caps, but I'd be against this. It would probably mean that each job would have it's own tomes not shared with other jobs. If I want to run dungeons as my main job to get tomes for my secondary, I should be able to.
Btw, in all your complaining and failure to check facts - Yoshi stated as new gear come out, specially stronger weapon, the Relic weapons will be continually updated to keep them up to speed but not exactly the Best. Every MMO gets new BIS gear, some faster than others - if XIV wasn't your first MMO, you'd realize this. I assume it's your first considering the arguments you're throwing out over basic MMORPG system in almost every one of your posts and topics since 1.0.How many years did that bow stay relevant? You've played what, XIV and Runescape only? Everyone here can complain about the myth cap all you want. When I'm rocking coil gear I'll be laughing at everyone freaking out.
