I like most of the ideas the OP posted and am showing my approval by bumping this thread. Here's hoping someone official looks at the OP.

Also make something crazy for those folks who have been crafting 24/7 and have 13 trillion gil. Like they get to buy a physical building, maybe for a company, and then move on.
