I'm definitely curious what new hairstyles they'll come out with. Not sure how often I'll change it up but I'm sure I will. I had been torn when recreating Myr's appearance at launch between two options, one short and one long, and I ended up going with the short hair and it's really grown on me, it's gonna be hard to part with it even for short timespans!

And changing gears a bit, my alt R'khaami isn't ready to give up the warmth of summer yet... Her sisters of the R may be hard at work around Limsa ordering military provisions, updating the Bismarck's menu for autumn stews, or dutifully inspecting cargo imports, but she's going to don that bikini until the very last, gosh darnit!

I'll accept Aldgoats and horses and the like... because they make sense~!

I have a question:

If you could put an emote or emotes in the game what would you suggest? What would they look like?

I have two I would propose.

/silly: Miq'ote Female would do the typical Anime face of pulling down one eye and sticking her tongue out. Lalafells would pucker their lips and flap their ears on their temples like fish. Roe's would stretch their cheeks. Hyurs would cross their eyes lol

/airguitar: Lalafells would jump and do a big circle-strum, hyurs would slide on their knees and play a riff, Roes would melt face on their deathmetal bass, Miqotes would have a cute J-pop dance while they played.

Yes, my gigantic mount. Feast upon the bones of the unworthy...

On the one hand, it kind of takes away from the glory of behemoths to have everyone ride them. But that won't stop me. I'm going to call him Jorgen!

As for goings-on, I managed to break up a Lalafellan rp of questionable virtue by using Baldr (my chocobo for those who remember)! The morals of Eorzea can rest easy for another night thanks to a wandering black mage and her riding chicken.

I have to second /slap for emotes. Would be a bonus to have it actually animated this time, with a comically huge wind up for a good smack across the face.

Besides that I think it would also be neat to see some alternate sitting or lying down positions (something like /sit2 /sit3, etc). Kinda hate how my highlander can only kneel and not actually sit with her butt unless it's in a chair. One specific example that I'd like to see is laying prone on the ground (maybe command could be /liedown or something similar), head propped up by interlocked fingers beneath the chin, and the knees bent so the shins/feet are pointing up to the sky (maybe moving them back and forth a bit too in a small, slow kicking motion), kind of like a daydreaming on the beach position. (Here's the best example image I could find without drawing my own cuz I'm lazy. Was just thinking hands under chin instead of on the cheeks)

Finally, need to bring back our /random (/dice). Sometimes you need RNG for more than just loot!

Yeah im not that poetic so no haiku for me or that cool necklace :/ lol.
Shame as its pretty nice looking, wonder what other prizes they'll come up with for future events.
I think a rare mount would be nice, like a Golden Chocobo as little fan-service referencing to the older games, not saying it should fly or anything but maybe some unique ability.

Oh did they mention if the tattoo parlour would coming in with hair salon/styles update?
I'd like to tweek some of my characters tattoos in the future, maybe add/remove.

On a humours/jokey topic: this seems like an ideal thread to ask a question old beta testers may remember: any FFXIV related fatbergs reported in your area?
