Titan HM Tank Gear Requirements?

I would suggest the 2 healer setup. But it sounds like you all need some more gear and you need to get over that fear of earrings before hand. If you dont like them, turn off the helmet options and I believe it hides the earrings.

Thanks for the suggestion. The FC I'm in hasn't cleared Titan yet. We have 4 healers at 50 total I think, 5 tanks at 50, and about 11 DPS at 50. Only a few members have full DL. I know for fact 1 healer and 1 tank are our most geared and the other healers literally hit 50 within the last couple days. So we will probably do the 2 healer set up because it works better for our composition anyway.

He's using the ugliest helmet in the game to cover the earrings he's NOT wearing.

@ OP: Sorry man... its just silly to not wear earrings. I get that maybe you don't want to show them off but you already show your helmet. Are you so RP you can't come to terms with actually wearing earrings to be the best you can? In my opinion you're doing a disservice to every single player you group with. Its not only silly its selfish and in my FC would be completely unacceptable. Just my 2gil....

My FC is pretty laid back. I didn't think people would really be that upset about the earring, I'll start using them. It's kind of silly not using them but it's kind of silly not having another option there like earring/2nd wrist spot. There's different FCs for different people and while we will have a few max/min people everyone can do what they want as long as they are helpful and don't cause drama.

I can appreciate being laid back and I would agree that its about having a good time. That being said when you die to mountain buster because you were 200 HP short... its gonna be your earrings fault. Consider the fact that if you screw up bombs you could take upwards of 7000 dmg over 5s or so. As a PLD who's tanked and killed Titan I'm saying you WILL want to max your survivability. There is so much dmg going around that taxing your healers more is just silly. Without an earring you're going to take more dmg from everything. Granted it may seem small but over a longish fight like titan I would imagine you will require a fairly large number of increased healing running with an empty slot.

Again, its just silly and selfish. Don't get me wrong, I'm all about having a good time. That being said Titan is NOT the place for it. Especially if you're trying to kill it for the first time.
