    I'd prefer LNC cross-class than PUG. Featherfoot and Internal Release are okay (New Second Wind is meh), But having Keen Flurry and Invigorate would be much more appreciated and central. Dodge chance with Vengeance is kinda silly and doesn't really fit the "idea" of a warrior. Punching things makes sense, but not as much as wielding your axe with lance-like styles. Thrusting and Deflecting resemble the Warrior's role more than occasionally punching things.


    This would give us Provoke, Flash, Convalescence, Keen Flurry, and Invigorate. Which would be fantastic.

    My 7 suggestions:

    1. Make 15% heal buff native to Defiance and not Wrath Dependent
    2. Remove damage nerf of Defiance.
    3. Make Flash Blind translate to WAR
    4. Make Foresight remove a percentage of damage rather than just raise Defense
    5. Make Vengeance damage a mob of a percentage of damage received (So if you get damaged by Mountain Buster the damage to Titan will be say 25%, combined with Bloodbath, 25% of that 25% would result in a heal.
    6. Make WAR Parry from any angle.
    7. Buff Steel Cyclone.

    They actually specifically said that cross class abilities were getting looked at, because some classes have really useful ones, while others are completely useless.

    As for the person who said it makes no thematic sense, that's just bad translation, see: Haymaker. How does one perform a haymaker with a bow? They don't. JApanese name is Counter, which makes sense.

    Likewise Fist of * is * no Kamae in japanese, or Stance of *, and if you are going to say that a fighter, of any type, makes no thematic sense changing their stance, i'm gonna look at you very confusedly.

    Going to say this again here, maybe it will trend who knows.
    I would LOVE if Inner Beast just worked like Thrill of Battle (Give bonus HP along with curing). This could then be used to blow pre-bighit to give you a buffer, and then you could burst back your wraith stacks with Infuriate (5), or Berserk/Vengence (2). It wouldn't change the mechanics of War, but it would give a big incentive to actually use your Wraith stacks.
    It would be nice if the damage mitigation from Foresight was better, or if we could reduce the recast on our off-GCD stun. But I think the above change would make Warrior much easier to work in party dynamic.

    Fist of the earth going to war sounds awesome to me...assuming it isn't broke.
    If I'm not wrong it means under defiance with full wrath we would have 1.26, healing vs PLD's 1.25 and 1.36% effective health vs Plds 1.25s.

    That is cool (if not mandatory) assuming it doesn't push War up too far.
    Would like bloodbath stormpath and cyclone to be more relevant. A 2s window of kill on mercy stroke would be some nice QoL as well.

    Fists of Earth cross class would be godly, and IMO would eliminate about 1/2 of the gap between WAR and PLD. I would instantly go back to my WAR if they did this.

    IMO they need more changes than just those 7 (and some wouldn't even matter, like Flash blinding, since most things are immune to blind anyway). Though Rampart Cross Class and Fists of Earth cross class would be amazing.

    I think WAR skills will get a lot of love. Once SE realizes that the cross class skills WAR provides (i.e. Mercy Stroke, Foresight) are just utter crap hopefully it will be improved for everyone.

    1. Your point is valid, but I don't think SE thought about lore when they were creating Cross Class Skills. If they did, BRD would not have DRG & MNK crossclass, and BLM ( A caster) wouldn't have a Archer Cross Class.

    2. 20% Slow with 100% uptime potential is huge for mitigation in long fights.

    3. I would have mention other things they could give othere classes, but then that post would be 5 pages lol

    I wish! The biggest Second Wind I've seen with berserk is about 900. A 1200-1400 Heal is an average Inner Beast which is a 900 Potency Heal. Second Wind is 450 Potency.

    Also, Berserk boost attack power by 50% So Second Potency is boosted to 600, not 900. , It would only do double the potency if Berserk boosted attack power by 100%. That would be way to OP.
