I'd hope, in time, they'd be able to balance the prices of Chocobos like in XI. It was never a flat rate and went up with inflation, didn't it?

But, if we can't own our own chocobos, then we can't breed them ourselves. That's why I made the prices for breeding chocobos so high (stable rentals and stuff).Oh another one: you RENT Chocobos as mounts instead of owning them. You rent them for something like 5000 gil per hour and then they disappear after that amount of time (of course it warns you before it just up and disappears >.> something like 30/15/10/5 minutes before it's going to disappear).
Peach Parfait/Khulan Angura on Gilgamesh
You could essentially have both and it wouldn't hurt the economy either way. Rent and own, that is.
People would purchase eggs bred by those aiming for a certain colour or stats.
In any case, rentals would likely show up before a whole system organized around breeding.
Similar to the anima thing, a way to restore some Guardian's Favor. Donations to the deity? = D Potions from ALC or straight from NPC.
I think I'd like to see that more as a unique quest reward type thing rather than a gil-sink, but it's another possibility to consider.
I hoping "quest hubs" will be like "out post warps" and we pay gil to warp to them, since they said they would be in "remote locations"
Oh and for NPC Vedors, yes I want to see more of them but I also want to see travelling vendors walking along the roads out in the field to help give a bit more life to the game.
They could maybe make them so they got attacked by bandits or beastmen sometimes and you could go and help them out, maybe if you got there after the attack you could go and retrieve their stolen merchandise from the bandit/beastmen camp as a little quest too.
