It's easy to force people to use tank LB, just need a pattern that people can't survive w/o and cant be skipped by rushing.

I've yet to find a use for the tank's Limit Break. I'm not entirely sure what SE was thinking when they made it like this, so I've nothing against it being changed. In fact, I wish they would change it.
Titan Tumult in a long fight is probably the best usage of it, but even then what happens on Titan's next rotation? He'd have to be killed before that point and as others have said if the mob is that close to death better to pop a damage limit.

When the dps die I use the tank lb to give us some time to raise the dps and secure us survivingSo far, I have not been able to figure out a useful usage for the Tank LB. I even tried to use LB3 against titan AOE after we missd the heart and it had no effect and we all died anyway.
I was wondering if anyone has used Tank LB and find it useful somewhere?
Should we ask for a change?
Bahamut Turn 4. The only fight so far that can use it.
My experience was the same as Fensfield's. So far, storymode Garuda is the only time I've found it useful. Pretty disappointing. Seems to me that more variety in LB options is something SE might think about (and not just for tanks). But even so, dps LB's are always going to find more utility.
The only time I used it is for Gaurda Story mode, besides that, not much else. I mean I think it should have a change.
This took too much of an imagination. SE will say that there's no plan to changing LB and therefore we should end any feedback regarding LB. (I call it now).
Imo limits should be more like this
Paladin -> LB 1 = Global Rampart, LB2 = Global Rampart and Sentinel, LB3 = Global 12 second hallowed ground
Warrior -> LB 1 = Global Foresight, LB2 = Global Foresight and Thrill of Battle, LB3 = Global ForeSight, Thrill of Battle, and warriors next inner beast is 1 * Party Member Count distributed evenly to group.
Whm -> ???
Sch -> ???
Brd -> LB1 = 25% MP/TP Restore, LB2 = 50% MP/TP Restore, LB3 = 100%MP/TP Restore
Drg -> ST LB
Mnk -> ST LB
Smn -> Summons something bad ass not the mini things, Like maybe LB3 Could be phoenix from FF7 and it does dmg and raises all dead poeople.
Blm -> Fine as is
In my limited experience, the only usefulness is to trivialize content by allowing you to circumvent intended mechanics.
For example, the tank LB means you can ignore the pillars in Garuda, story mode. It's obvious the designers wanted players to watch their positioning and not splash the pillars with AoE, and it's fairly obvious that they wanted us to AoE the adds down before they did significant damage to the pillars, but you can pretty much stand anywhere and casually kill the adds, using the tank LB for her ultimate.
Who the hell knows when you ALWAYS have a DPS to use it.
This is why the Limit Break System sucks monkey nuts. No one else can
use their LB because the DPS always have the need to use it, just to be using it.
So if everyone dead, nope, lemme waste LB just because we're going to die.
I wanna use my damn healing break sometimes. D<
They must change the LB system when they have time, as it stands, it's just bad.
