More options means more fun means more players.

Pretty much as topic goes, this is to SE and anyone who wants to read it.

I'm a long time gamer, I'm 26 years old. I've been gaming since age of six. Playing mostly zelda games but branching out. I play all sorts of games fps, rpg, action adventure, adventure, mmorpg, orpg, MUD, sim, and etc. When it comes to mmorpg. I find that the more options the players have the more better the game is.

This spans from exploration to shopping in the game. From making money to leveling up. I think we need more options in the game. One of my pet peeves in mmo is cookie cutting. Having bosses, NM, mobs etc have limited was of defeat makes cookie cutting happen.

Add more customization in gear, such as dye. Or give players more options in classes. Like take Rift's class tree system. A player can say take the monk archtype and branch out to make their own take on it. This will serve in limiting that cookie cutterness. I would love to be known not only for playing good, but known for my style of play.

this does include ignoreing players who cry over stuff like jump because it annoyes them... just to let you know

I pretty much feel SE or matter of fact any develeper of an mmo should look to having a ton of stuff a player can do or option with in the game. And never should limit what a player can do. This thinking is what made WoW so successful. There are all sorts of stuff you can do @ level 1.

Limiting play styles or options of things to do even at low levels can turn ppl away. The more things a player can do the loger they will play/ be stick to the game. Since it will take a player alot of time to try everyone once. Sort of lke Elder Scrolls. These games have a ton to do just at the start.

Actually not really. I'm not saying add more things. Just to not limit their options. Like add jump, add an AH and player ran stores with in the cities. Add mini games etc. Pretty much saying keep your options open instead of limiting players. Like having a need for hybrids etc.

Everything you've mentioned has been discussed extencively in its own thread.

You should spend some time reading letters from the producer and what the hard working community reps post here. Almost everything you've mentioned is answered in letters or by the reps. I should not have to link you to each and every one. This is littering the forums and if there was a dislike button I'm sure it would be representative.

    Nothing to see here guys.

There is not one crafter I know who wishes for there to be more dye in game. Not one.

The reps responded in the "tripple triad" thread with a very clear answer.

I'm all for more colors on gear and more unique areas, I'm not up for this broad ass call for options that is gonna try to hide an excuse for a useless jump feature that would bring nothing to this game.

problem is someone want this game remain oldschool like XI

they against every common features which another MMOs had

they enjoy playing their game with small niche community

they think features from WoW or another MMOs are bad idea and will ruin their high class game
